100% Cotton Yoga Sandbag with zipper – inner case and outer cover

This handy Sandbag / Pea Shingle Bag can be used in meditation, yoga, recuperative practice and fitness workouts. Yoga sandbags add weight to enhance your posture and deepen your stretch and enables your muscles to relax and feel more grounded. They also provide stability to help you hold a difficult pose. The outer and inner covers are made of cotton with a zip opening and a sturdy carry handle on the outer cover. Approximate fill weight: 5kg (three quarters full is a good working weight). Fill this Sandbag with kiln dried sand or kids play pit sand, which does not stain or pea shingle (small stones) available from local DIY stores or garden centres. This product is NOT SUPPLIED with shingle or sand. THE BENEFITS OF SHINGLE vs SAND – There are several benefits to filling your bag with Pea Shingle rather than Sand. The Pea Shingle allows for a more even distribution than Sand, it also moulds and conforms better to your body shape along with not feeling as cold on your skin as Sand filled bags and it doesn’t have the problem of getting damp in the Winter months.
